Agricultural business in the Vinnytsia region is increasingly getting involved in shaping modern education within communities. One such example is the experience of Pavlo Marushchak, a farmer from Vinnytsia and a member of the Ukrainian Agri Council, who supported the implementation of the "Agrosphere" course in the educational institutions of his community.
Upon his initiative and with the support of the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC), the Association of Milk Producers (AMP), the Association of Ukrainian Pig Breeders (AUPB), and the "SvitOsvit" educational methodological center, the course is already being implemented in the Ustya and Bershad lyceums, as well as in the Velykokyriivka gymnasium. Within the framework of the implementation, teachers were trained, schools were provided with educational materials, and an emphasis was placed on practical training and vocational orientation for students.
As Pavlo Marushchak notes, the decision to support "Agrosphere" was conscious and strategic.
"I realized that this is necessary for both the community and my enterprise. It is important for us to show young people how modern agriculture works and that they can realize their potential in Ukraine," the farmer said.

The "Agrosphere" course introduces schoolchildren not only to the basics of agriculture but also to how the agricultural sector affects the country's economy, GDP formation, and the development of technologies and innovations. Special attention is paid to modern professions that shape the agri-sector today.
According to Pavlo Marushchak, at the beginning of the studies, children had many questions regarding the content of the course and its practical benefits. However, the situation changed quickly after the start of practical classes.
"For the second year in a row, children have been implementing their own projects: working with plants as elements of genetics, learning to plan budgets, and understanding economics and the principles of earning money," he notes.

Students show particular interest in getting acquainted with the real working conditions of agricultural enterprises. Students are shown how professions in the agri-sector are changing: instead of traditional specialties, new ones are appearing—in particular, autopilot system operators, analytics specialists, and digital technology experts.
"Today, work in agriculture is not just a field and not just a tractor. It is about technologies, IT solutions, and modern management," the farmer emphasizes.
In addition, students engage in growing vegetables using new technologies, develop elements of landscape design, and gain an understanding of the possibilities for self-realization in the agricultural sphere.

For Reference: The Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC) announced the scaling of the "AGROsphere" educational course in the 2026/2027 academic year. It is planned to implement the course in 500 communities and schools in Ukraine, which will allow for the involvement of more than 15,000 schoolchildren in studying the modern agri-sector and vocational orientation.
The "AGROsphere" course has been implemented for six years with the support of the "SvitOsvit" educational methodological center based on a textbook and methodological materials. It forms a modern vision of the agricultural sector among schoolchildren—from agricultural technologies and digital solutions to product processing, logistics, and sustainable development.
During 2022–2025, more than 5,000 students successfully completed the course. In the 2025–2026 academic year, "AGROsphere" is being implemented in 200 educational institutions in 19 regions of Ukraine, where about 4,000 schoolchildren are studying it. The implementation of the course in communities is already supported by 30 farmers who are members of the UAC.
