To recognize the achievements of industry leaders, disseminate best practices, and emphasize the importance of supporting the dairy sector both domestically and internationally, the Association of Milk Producers (AMP) summarized the results of the annual ranking "Dairy Records of Ukraine–2025."
The results were traditionally announced during the XVII International Dairy Congress, which took place on October 17-18, 2025.
This year, winners were determined in three nominations:
♦ TOP-20 Dairy Farms of Ukraine — the most productive dairy farms (MTFs);
♦ Highest Lifetime Productivity — the five record-breaking cows in the country;
♦ Special Award "Hope of the Industry" — for animals that have not yet entered the top five record-breaking cows but show outstanding results in the metric "average milk per lactation, kg" and are serious contenders for victories in the coming years.
Despite all the challenges of the full-scale war, Ukrainian dairy farms demonstrate impressive resilience, technological sophistication, and a commitment to increasing efficiency.
As of January 1, 2025, the average milk yield per cow in the industrial sector was 8,167 kg/cow/year, which is 20% higher than in the pre-war year of 2021.
More than half of the participants in the TOP-20 nomination surpassed the mark of 12,000 kg/cow/year, and the rating leader, "Ukraine" LLC, exceeded 13,500 kg/cow/year!
Such results were made possible through precise management, genetic progress, professional staff, and a high level of animal welfare.
The organizers emphasize that participation in the ranking is voluntary, meaning there are significantly more high-performing farms in Ukraine. The AMP encourages farms that were hesitant this year to be sure to apply for the next ranking.
The tradition of the annual "Dairy Records of Ukraine" continues—preparation for the "Dairy Records of Ukraine–2026" is already starting!
The AMP sincerely congratulates all the winners and wishes them not only to maintain but to multiply their achievements!
