The share of industrial milk in the processing structure exceeded 80%

Despite the difficult wartime conditions, industrial farms continue to work on animal productivity, quality and safety of raw milk.

According to estimated data, in the three quarters of 2022, processing enterprises received 2,056.2 thousand tons of raw milk, which is 15.3% less than in 2021. It is important that the reduction of supplies from the industrial sector amounted to -7.8% compared to the same period last year (1711.1 thousand tons). Meanwhile, supplies from households decreased by more than a third: -37% (283 thousand tons).

Therefore, the share of industrial milk in the total revenue structure has already reached 83.2%, which is 2.7% more than in 9 months of 2021 and 6.6% more than in 2020.

The increasing role of the industrial sector in the dairy industry is due to a significant reduction in milk production in homestead farms.
