The government has approved a list of goods for export licensing: how it will work

The government has updated the list of goods whose exports require licensing and the list of goods subject to export restrictions.

The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine clarified the decision adopted by the Government, the updated list of goods whose exports require licensing, and the list of goods whose exports are restricted.

According to Roman Leshchenko, licensing is necessary for:

• wheat and mixtures of wheat and rye (meslin);

• corn;

• meat of domestic chickens;

• eggs of domestic chickens;

• sunflower oil.

To obtain a license, produsers must submit to the Ministry of Economy (tradedefence@me.gov.ua diravka@me.gov.ua) in electronic form:

• application for a free license in the form approved by the order of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine dated 09.09.2009 № 991 “On the procedure for licensing the export of goods” (registration with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine dated 06.10.2009 № 937/16953);

• letter-application for a license (letter of any form, requesting a license);

• any available document confirming the delivery (contract, etc.).

The request will be processed within 24 hours.

The conclusion of phytosanitary certificates can be obtained in any institution where the relevant examination is conducted.

We remind you that during the martial law the Government banned the export of:
oats;
millet;
buckwheat;
sugar;
salts;
wheat;
cattle;
meat and cattle offal.

Importantly! Dairy products can be exported without licensing and restrictions, but live cattle and beef are prohibited.

For other goods, exports will take place in the right mode in peacetime.
