Ukraine as a Reserve for the Receding Global Dairy Market

The global dairy market is entering a phase of profound structural changes. Milk production in many European Union countries is declining. The industry faces resource shortages, rising costs, environmental restrictions, and labor shortages. Europe's "milk river" is gradually receding.

Against this backdrop, Ukraine is increasingly emerging as one of the key reserves for the future development of global dairy farming.

Despite the war, energy attacks, unprecedented economic challenges, and the requirements of Euro-integration, Ukrainian dairy farms continue to operate and invest in technology, genetics, and increased production efficiency. Right now, under the most difficult conditions, a new architecture for the Ukrainian dairy sector is being formed—one that is more technological, competitive, and integrated into the global market.

At the same time, Ukraine's dairy industry is experiencing one of its deepest economic crises in recent years.

Therefore, the key question today is: How can we navigate this period of turbulence and utilize this historic window of opportunity to develop the Ukrainian dairy sector?

We will seek answers together with leading Ukrainian and international experts, producers, processors, investors, and representatives of international organizations during the International Dairy Congress—the main expert event of Ukraine's dairy industry.

  • June 11–12, 2026

This is where decisions that define the future of the dairy industry are shaped!
