During its session on December 3rd, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the draft state budget for 2026 in the second reading and in its entirety. 257 people's deputies voted "For" the decision, reports Agravery.com.
According to the document's version proposed by the Government of Ukraine, the agro-industrial complex is set to receive over 13 billion UAH from the state budget in 2026, which exceeds this year's budget by 3.5 billion UAH.
The state budget allocates the indicated 13 billion UAH as follows:
- 9.5 billion UAH – financial support for producers (subsidy per 1 ha, land reclamation, crop insurance);
- 2.6 billion UAH – support for farming households;
- 1.0 billion UAH – humanitarian demining of agricultural lands.
The total volume of expenditures and credit provision of the state budget will amount to approximately 4.8 trillion UAH. At the same time, the general fund revenues of the state budget for 2026 are foreseen at the level of 2.918 trillion UAH (excluding grants and other international assistance).
