Dairy Farming Under Euro-Integration: Knowledge, Standards, and Support for Dairy Farms – Webinar

The Ukrainian Agri Council, the Consultancy Center of the Association of Milk Producers, and the international humanitarian organization MERCY CORPS invite owners, managers, and specialists of Ukrainian dairy farms to a free webinar: "Development of Dairy Farming in Ukraine Under Euro-Integration: Knowledge, Standards, and Support."

Euro-integration is changing the rules for dairy farm operations. At the webinar, you will receive practical tools for adapting dairy farms to new standards, understand how to prepare a farm for inspection without unnecessary risks, and receive expert recommendations for maintaining herd productivity and improving milk quality. You will also learn about the support opportunities available for livestock farms today.

  • Hanna Lavrenyuk, General Director of the Association of Milk Producers. Presentation topic: "Urgent Euro-Integration Requirements for Dairy Farms: Welfare of Cattle During Management, Personnel Certification, and Inspection Peculiarities." Legislation regulating animal welfare requirements on livestock farms, requirements for employees involved in dairy farm operations, and the organization of employee certification;
  • Anastasia Makarova, Agricultural Services Provider Manager of the international humanitarian organization Mercy Corps. Opening remarks. A short presentation on available opportunities for farmers within the framework of the Ukraine Agriculture Support Program;
  • Valeriy Lototskiy, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, Director of the AMP Consultancy Center. Presentation topic: "Impact of Udder Health on Cow Productivity and Milk Quality." Economic losses resulting from animal mastitis diseases;
  • Dmytro Kokhan, Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Agri Council. Presentation of a new livestock support component within the MERCY CORPS project.
