A Taste of Ukraine: "Cheese Map of Ukraine" Presented in Kyiv

On December 16, 2025, a landmark event for the cheese-making industry took place in Kyiv — the presentation of the "Cheese Map of Ukraine." The Association of Milk Producers (AMP) was represented at the event by Deputy Director General Olena Zhupinas.

The Cheese Map was initially presented as an impressive art installation; however, it will soon transition into an online format. This digital platform will allow for the monitoring and analysis of cheese production geography in Ukraine, the unique characteristics of various cheeseries and their product ranges, as well as the results of Ukraine's participation in professional cheese competitions.

The Association of Milk Producers is sincerely proud that the "Cheese Map of Ukraine" features cheeseries from AMP member farms whose products have achieved high recognition:

PSP "Piskivske" (Cheesery "Shchedra Fermerska Rodyna"):

"Monastyrskyi" and "Gouda" cheeses were awarded bronze medals at the "Pro Cheese 2025" festival.

LLC "Shabska Ferma" ("European Cheesery"):

"Brunost with dried cranberries and walnuts" was honored with a gold medal at the "Pro Cheese 2025" festival.

"Gouda" cheese received a silver medal at the prestigious "World Cheese Awards 2022-23."

Currently, the "Cheese Map of Ukraine" includes 65 types of cheese from all regions of the country. This serves as a powerful tool for promoting domestic cheesemaking and increasing its competitiveness, as Ukrainian cheeses continue to confidently demonstrate top-tier quality and taste.
