The government has allowed farmers to import purebred breeding animals on preferential terms

On August 12, the Government approved a bill "On Amendments to Paragraph 197.18 of Article 197 of the Tax Code of Ukraine to Clarify the UKT FEA Codes of Pedigree Purebred Animals."

The draft Law is designed to bring the purebred animal breeding codes of UKT FEA specified in paragraph 197.18 of Article 197 of the Tax Code of Ukraine into line with those specified in the Customs Tariff of Ukraine.

Thus, by the decision of the Government in paragraph 197.18 of Article 197 of the Tax Code of Ukraine, the figures "0101 10 10 00, 0102 10 10 00, 0102 10 30 00" were replaced by the figures "0101 21 00 00, 0102 21 10 00, 0102 21 30 00".

The implementation of the bill will allow agricultural producers to import purebred breeding animals into Ukraine without paying value added tax.
