ePermit" Launches First AI-Powered Government Service: Veterinary License Application

The Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine have launched a new service: the processing of veterinary licenses in "ePermit" now includes an automated document review using artificial intelligence.

When an application is submitted in "Diia," the "ePermit" system works "behind the scenes" to verify the documents and return the information to "Diia."

What does this mean for entrepreneurs?

  • You can submit an application online through the "Diia" portal.
  • The AI module automatically checks documents for completeness and errors, allowing an expert to make a decision more quickly.
  • Fewer queues and less paperwork, with more speed and transparency.

Importantly, for this first service, the AI operates without transferring data abroad and complies with all current information security standards.

The launch of the AI module for the veterinary license is just the first step. There are plans to scale it up for other services in the future.
