The Association of Milk Producers (AMP), together with the Ukrainian Agrarian Council (UAC) and with the support of Dow, continues to educate agricultural producers on "Effective and Ecological Restoration of Agriculture in Ukraine."
This is the second seminar, held at the Terezine agricultural enterprise in the Kyiv region.
The event was attended by representatives from over 10 farms involved in crop and livestock production.
During the seminar, key cases on the storage of grain and fodder for cattle in polymer sleeves were highlighted. The main focus was on the issues of recycling used sleeves.
Oleksandr Aleksandrov, director of Dow's Ukraine office, emphasized global practices for handling plastic waste and explained how agricultural producers should collaborate with plants for the disposal of used polymer sleeves.
Valeriy Alekseyev, UAC's chief expert on the technology of storing grain and fodder in polymer sleeves, stressed the important points during the packing/unpacking of the sleeves and preparing them for subsequent disposal.
We remind you that a series of free seminars will be held throughout the year in all regions of Ukraine.
