AMP Agro-Expedition: Ukrainian Farmers' Visit to the Leading Dairy Expo in the USA

The delegation of the Association of Milk Producers of Ukraine (AMP) visited the leading exhibition of technology and innovation for the dairy industry in the USA - World Dairy Expo 2024, along with some of the best dairy farms in the country.

With support from the Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy, the Association of Milk Producers of Ukraine organized an educational agricultural tour for Ukrainian dairy farmers to the USA, titled "World Dairy Expo 2024 and Biogas Technologies in U.S. Dairy Farms."

During the educational tour from September 28 to October 6, delegates made technical visits and explored in detail the operations of six leading dairy farms in Wisconsin, one of the top three dairy-producing states, which is home to 25% of the country's dairy cows!

At the World Dairy Expo, Olga Polozova, Head of Krasnohorskiy LLC and a board member of AMP, shared insights on the challenges that Ukrainian farms face due to the full-scale war, the losses suffered by colleagues in frontline and temporarily occupied areas due to the intentional destruction by occupiers, AMP’s efforts to support farms, and her farm's plans. She also expressed gratitude to American colleagues and the American people for their support of Ukraine in the fight for independence and democratic values, during an interview for the WDE Radio Podcast.

We thank all participants for their trust and active involvement in the tour.

‼️ We will share insights and key observations from our visits to the U.S. dairy industry leaders and from World Dairy Expo at the XVI International Dairy Congress in October - register now!
