Ukrainian milk is healthy, high quality and safe. Results of the meeting of the SSUFSCP, QFTP and business associations.

On July 20, Ihor Prysiazhniuk, a veterinarian and expert of the Association of Milk Producers, took part in a coordination meeting on planning and implementing a strategy to raise awareness about the safety of raw milk.

The event was also attended by: Vladуslava Magaletska, Head of SSUFSCP; Manon Shupers, Director of SAFOSO; Igor Kravchenko, local head of QFTP, Alexander Bondarenko, head of special projects of RMA; Iryna Vysotska, coordinator of the QFTP Dairy Sector component and representatives of business associations in the dairy sector.

Participants discussed steps to be taken to raise public awareness of milk safety and quality. Depending on the target audience - consumers, producers and processors, the country's leadership, government officials, parliamentarians, OTG and small farms - strategy implementation plans have been developed.

Consumer confidence in milk and dairy products needs to be restored, so the Association of Milk Producers supports the outlined initiatives and welcomes the readiness of the state on behalf of SSUFSCP to join the process.

We are ready to destroy myths and like no one else we want to show that Ukrainian milk is healthy, high quality and safe.

The event was supported by Switzerland in the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian program "Development of trade with higher added value in the organic and dairy sectors of Ukraine", implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland).
